Gerald-L-Tuttle-JrWe dedicate this page to one of the founders of our firm, Gerald “Jerry” L. Tuttle, Jr., who passed away after a sudden illness on January 28, 2007. Jerry was our colleague and a passionate advocate for our firm; he was also a true and dear friend to many of us at JMP Group as well as to many others in the broader financial world and his community. He inspired us all.

At JMP Group, Jerry was a managing director and co-director of investment banking, also serving as co-head of the financial services investment banking group. He was a member of the firm’s executive committee and its board of directors. We are committed to honoring Jerry’s professional and personal spirit and to preserving his legacy.

Jerry’s family has established a scholarship fund in his honor at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where Jerry earned his undergraduate degree. Donations made will benefit deserving students and will preserve Jerry’s memory forever. Contributions can be made by check, written out to “Jerry Tuttle Scholarship Fund,” and should be sent to:
