Maureen McCarthy
Director of Sales & Trading
Maureen McCarthy is a Managing Director and is Director of Sales & Trading.
Prior to joining JMP, Maureen spent six years, from 1996 through 2002, at Robertson Stephens, most recently serving as a Managing Director and head of trading. From 1990 to 1996, Maureen was a Principal and NASDAQ trader at Montgomery Securities. She began her trading career at Kidder Peabody in 1987.
Maureen holds a BA from Vassar College.

Dan previously served as JMP’s Director of East Coast Sales. Prior to making the transition to institutional sales in 2002, Dan spent two years in JMP’s investment banking group with a focus on financial services. From 1998 through 2000, Dan worked in the investment banking department at Sandler O’Neill & Partners, providing M&A and capital raising services for banks and thrifts.
Dan holds a BA from Georgetown University.

Dan White is a Managing Director and is Director of Convertible Sales and Trading.
Prior to joining JMP, Dan was head of convertible sales and trading at RBC Capital Markets, where he founded the firm’s convertible products business. He previously served as head of convertible sales and trading at both Piper Jaffray & Co. and Robertson Stephens & Co., where he founded the firm’s convertible products business. Earlier in his career, Dan worked at Oppenheimer & Co. and Paine Webber Group.
Dan holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BA from the University at Albany, State University of New York.
