Jerry Tuttle was a co-founder and Managing Director of JMP Group. He was Co-Director of Investment Banking and also co-head of JMP Securities’ financial services investment banking group. Jerry served as a member of the firm’s executive committee and as a member of its board of directors.
Prior to founding JMP, Jerry was a Principal specializing in mergers and acquisitions in the financial services group at Montgomery Securities, now Banc of America Securities. Jerry previously served as an Associate Director at Sandler O’Neill & Partners and also worked in the investment banking group at PaineWebber, with a focus on financial institutions. Early in his career, he worked as a legislative assistant in banking and finance for Representative Hamilton Fish and Senator Alfonse D’Amato.
Jerry received a BA degree from The College of William and Mary.
