David Shapiro is a Managing Director at Harvest Capital Strategies and is responsible for researching real estate, lodging, gaming and other asset-based industries.

Prior to joining Harvest Capital Strategies, David was the portfolio manager of the Seneca Real Estate Securities Fund for Seneca Capital Management. He was previously a senior advisor to Riverbank America, the former East River Savings Bank, and served as head of west coast investment for the ADCO Group. Additionally, David is currently a principal of Asset Holdings Group, a mortgage investment company, and has developed and financed in excess of $1 billion of commercial real estate during his career. He is also co-chairman of RB Asset, a real estate holding company.

David holds a JD from the University of Arizona College of Law and a BA from Columbia University.
