Craig Kitchin serves as Chief Financial Officer of JMP Credit Advisors and sits on its operating committee. He joined Cratos Capital Partners, the predecessor to JMP Credit Advisors, as Chief Financial Officer shortly after its inception in 2006 and is responsible for the administrative aspects of the business, including capital raising, financial reporting, loan operations, accounting, tax and human resources. From 1992 to 2006, Craig served in various capacities at Jameson Inns, Inc., a publicly traded hotel company with approximately 1,700 employees and more than 100 properties. From 1998 to 2006, he was President, Chief Financial Officer and a member of the company’s board of directors. While at Jameson, he oversaw the company’s initial public offering as well as many subsequent debt and equity offerings.

Craig holds an MBA with concentrations in accounting and finance from the University of Chicago and a BS degree in finance from Santa Clara University.
